Returning Student Selection 2026

We are excited to let you know that Housing Selection is currently underway! Housing selection is the period in which we have applications and then self-selections for where you’re going to live for the 2026-2027 academic year. One of our newest benefits for continuing to live on campus as an upperclassman is that we now offer modified-private units in Lowndes Hall. The second floor of Lowndes Hall will be a co-ed floor with only one person per room. To select this type of space you cannot be a part of a roommate group and will need to select on either priority selection day or the individual's selection day.

  • Applications go love January 16th at 10am and remain open until Feburary 6th. They will re-open February 6th*
    • To apply for a theme community, you must submit your application by February 6th
  • Renewals/Reclaims – February 9th – 20th*
    • This is for Centennial residents only. Renewals are for those with a 12-month contract who wish to renew their contract for another 12 months (Fall '26, Spring '27, and Summer '27). Reclaims are for those with a 10-month contract who wish to return to their current room for Fall '26 and Spring '27. Reclaiming means the resident will move out at the end of the Spring '27 semester and move back in the Fall.
  • Theme Communities – February 23rd – 27th*
    • If you’ve selected to be in a theme community, you will select into your space amongst where your theme community is located.
  • Selection Week – March 9th – 13th*
    • This is for anyone who is not reclaiming, renewing, or going into a themed community.

March 9th - Priority Selection

March 10th - Advised Student Selection for Groups 9:00AM - 2:30PM

March 10th - Advised Selection for Individuals 3:00PM - 8:00PM

March 11th - Group Selection 

March 12th - Individual Selection

March 13th - Open Call Selections

March 23th - Waitlist Opens at 10am 

March 25th- Room Change Process Opens at 10am

* Timeslots are assigned in the order in which applications are received. Applying by the priority deadline gives you the best chance to get the slot most optimal for you. All returners (Centennial included) must submit an application in order to select. Themed Community applicants will receive their acceptance by February 19th and select a space within their community. 

Please note it is when you actually self-select or are assigned a room that you are locked into your contract

We will be having a few events and competitions for you to compete to win priority housing during this selection process. Priority selection means that you will get to pick your space before the general population, enhancing your chance of getting into the exact space that you want.
