Summer Housing Assistant Application Process

Summer Resident Assistants

Live in the Residence Halls and build community in order to provide safety and security for the residents of the halls. By providing a peer to peer resource relationship, it is the responsibility of the SRA to connect with students to ensure their academic and personal success during their stay in the Residence Halls. Included in their compensation SRAs must be able to live on campus in the provided apartment/room within their community as well as work up to 20 hours per week in the Residence Halls. Qualifications:

Minimum GPA 2.65
On-Campus Living experience
Ability to live in on-campus provided apartment/room
Registered at full time for following fall semester
In good Judicial standing with the Department and University


Summer Conference Assistants

Assist our summer camps and conference program by checking in and out guests, setting up rooms, event coordination, and desk management when a conference is in session. Summer Conference Assistants do not need to live in the residence halls and will be compensated through a minimum of 15 hours and a maximum of 39 hours per week during the summer. The application is listed as Summer Housing Assistant on the Student Employment website.

Qualifications:

Minimum GPA 2.5
On-Campus Living experience
Registered at full time for following fall semester
In good Judicial standing with the Department and University

a. All Summer Housing Assistants must be able to commit 20 hours to the position. If you have another job on campus during the summer months, you should disclose that in your application.

b. Summer Housing Assistants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.65 and at least enrolled in full-time status the following Fall semester.

c. Summer Housing Assistants must be in good judicial standing with University and Housing Department. If you are unsure of your judicial standing please refer to the Student Conduct Office to inquire.
