Fall Housing Information

Hello Blazer Nation,

Housing assignments will be available to view on the Housing Portal beginning Wednesday, July 8th after 5pm.  Please note that traffic in the portal is typically high for the first few days once assignments are released.  If you cannot log in, please be patient and try again later.  If you do not see an assignment but completed the application and paid the deposit prior to the waitlist opening on June 15th, please know that we are working every day on making assignments and will have an update for you as soon as possible.

We are currently still operating with a waitlist for housing for students of all classifications. We are working on making assignments , processing releases of contracts, and first year exemptions.  As we move through the summer, we will do everything we can to get you into a space on campus.  We will assign students off of the waitlist in the order in which students place themselves onto the waitlist.  Once we start working on the waitlist, priority will be given to new incoming students.  If you place yourself on the waitlist and decide you no longer want to live on campus, please email us and we will remove you.

Please note that we cannot guarantee housing to any students who place themselves on the waitlist at this time.  However, we will work continuously over the summer to get as many students off of the waitlist and into housing as possible.  We will let you know as soon as possible if we will or will not be able to offer you a space on campus.

How do I access my assignment?
Students can access their housing assignment by logging back into the housing portal where they completed the housing application.  Please click on the APPLICATION tab on the top right.  Then make sure you click the Academic Year 2020-2021 button and then hit continue.  On this page, you will find assignment information as well as information about roommates/suitemates/apartmentmates.

I am a returning student, what does this mean for me?

If you are a returning student that does not already have a housing assignment for Fall 2020, please plan to make arrangements to live off-campus.  From this point on, we will be focusing on placing new incoming students.

Will there still be a room change process after classes start?
Due to the fact that we are at capacity with a waitlist, we will not be doing an open room change process after the second week of classes.  Room changes will be considered on a case by case basis and reserved for emergency cases.

Will Housing take walk-in students on the 1st day of classes?
We will have an online form set up for students to inquire about housing.  If spaces are available and we have exhausted the waitlist, we will accept walk in requests during the 1st week of classes.  We will not be taking walk ins inside the Housing Office due to COVID19 guidelines.
