Thank you for visiting the Valdosta State University Office of Financial Aid's (OFA) web site.  We in the OFA are dedicated to helping students and parents obtain the financial aid necessary to pay for a college education here at Valdosta State University. This site is designed to help you in this process and hopefully answers all questions you may have regarding financial aid here at VSU. Should you wish for further information, please contact our office.

Grants, Federal Work-Study, loans, and a number of scholarships are available through our office to help pay for the educational expenses here at Valdosta State University. The Office of Financial Aid should be your first stop if you are looking for information on: aid eligibility, Stafford loans, the PELL grant, the HOPE Scholarship, or the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The Office of Financial Aid is located on the first floor of the University Center at Entrance 5.

Valdosta State University's Federal School Code is 001599. This information will be needed by students completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

These are our FAFSA filing priority deadlines to help make sure your aid is in place for the appropriate term.  Your FAFSA can be filed after these dates but you may not have funds in place for the term.

  • Fall 2010 aid - June 15
