  • Shadowing is a process that involves observing professionals in a field of interest. It is important for students to develop contacts in prospective career fields who can provide accurate, realistic information.
  • Gain exposure/experience (Volunteer, Part-time jobs, Co-op, Internships, Extracurricular activities).
  • Develop marketable and transferable skills. Communication, Computer, Leadership and Teamwork skills are valuable for any career.
