Fall 2025 Wind Ensemble Auditions

Live, in-person, blind auditions will be held on the following dates in Whitehead Auditorium in the Fine Arts Building:

  • Woodwinds and Trumpets: Monday, August 18, 11:00am-1:00pm
    • 11:00am - Flute
    • 11:25am - Saxophone
    • 11:50am - Clarinets
    • 12:20pm - Trumpets
  • Brass and Double Reeds: Wednesday, August 20, 11:00am-1:00pm
    • 11:00am - Horn
    • 11:20am - Trombone
    • 11:50am - Tubas
    • 12:10pm - Euphonium
    • 12:40pm - Double Reeds
  • Percussion TBD

Audition excerpts should be performed in order as listed below.

Students who are brass, woodwind, or percussion majors in the Bachelor of Arts General or Music Education degree tracks are highly encouraged to audition. Brass, woodwind, or percussion students receiving music scholarships are required to audition, regardless of major.

Audition results will be announced via email Friday, August 22nd. Folders must be picked up from Dr. Holmes' Office (FAB 2012) Friday, August 22nd through Sunday, August 24th.
