Center for eLearning

The Center for eLearning supports individual faculty and academic programs in a number of ways:

  • The Center for eLearning supports faculty at Valdosta State University by providing Trainings and Workshops on best practices in pedagogy, instructional design, and instructional technology.
  • eLearning's Tips and Tools are designed to provide guidance and assistance to help faculty thoughtfully incorporate aspects of technology, design, and pedagogical theory in their courses to improve student success across all instructional modalities.
  • Review eLearning's Instructor Quick Start Guides to discover more about the features and tools available in BlazeVIEW.
  • Third-party integrations in BlazeVIEW enhance the learning experience by connecting external tools and resources directly within the course environment.
  • This Remote Teaching website provides basic information, strategies, and resources for using VSU's BlazeVIEW learning management system to transition a course online during unforeseen circumstances when face-to-face classes are disrupted.
  • Quality Matters at VSU:  Quality Matters™ (QM) is a faculty-centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of online and blended courses.
  • The Center for eLearning's Instructional Technology Specialist and Instructional Designers offer faculty Consultations to meet your personal needs.
