Blazer Beginnings Orientation

On-Campus/In-Person Session Dates 

On campus/ in person orientation sessions are designed for new students and is open for all classifications to attend. The sessions allow for time with your Academic College and extended opportunities with campus resources, including Financial Aid Counselors, Housing Staff, and other campus departments.

Spring/Fall 2027 Orientation Sessions

All new freshmen and transfer students are required to participate in an orientation session of their choice. We have several options for your convenience: 


SPRING 2027 Orientation Session Dates:

  • Friday, November 20, 2026 
  • Wednesday, January 6, 2027

FALL 2027 Orientation Session Dates:

  • Saturday, June 5, 2027
  • Friday, June 11, 2027  
  • Friday, June 25, 2027
  • Saturday, June 26, 2027
  • Friday, July 9, 2027
  • Saturday, July 17, 2027
  • Friday, July 23, 2027

 

 At Blazer Beginnings Orientation you will: 
- Meet faculty/staff
- Learn about university resources
- Connect with current & other incoming students
- Receive academic advising, secure course registration and get your class schedule


How To: Reserve Your Session Date & Submit Fee -  You are encouraged to register early as possible to begin your next steps of finalizing your pre-semester requirements.
  • First, log into your New Student Admissions Portal.
  • Your username is the email used to submit your student application. Click on your current application to view your status page.
  • Select your session date; complete and submit session registration to confirm your date and receive an email confirmation.
Cost to Attend:   Fee is non-refundable

*2027 Online Orientation is available to Transfer Students

NOTE: An Online Orientation Session is available for transfer (30+ credit hours) and transient students.
