Blazer Beginnings Orientation

On-Campus/In-Person Session Dates 

On campus/ in person orientation sessions are designed for new/transfer students and is open for all classifications to attend. The sessions allow time with your academic college and extended opportunities with campus resources, including Financial Aid Counselors, Housing Staff, and other campus departments.

Spring 2026 Term Orientation

All new freshmen and transfer students are required to participate in an orientation session of their choice. We have several options for your convenience:

Enrolling in Spring 2026 or Summer 2026 Term:

Orientation registration will be available to accepted students December 1, 2025.

 

Spring 2026 or Summer 2026 BBO Session Dates:

 At Blazer Beginnings Orientation you will: 
  • Meet staff
  • Connect with current students
  • Learn about university resources
  • Receive academic advising & secure course registration and class schedule
How To: Reserve Your Session Date & Submit Fee -  You are encouraged to register early as possible to begin your next steps of finalizing your pre-semester requirements.
  • First, log into your New Student Admissions Portal.
  • Your username is the email used to submit your student application. Click on your current application to view your status page.
  • Select your session date; complete and submit session registration to confirm your date and receive an email confirmation.
Cost to Attend:   Fee is non-refundable

*Summer 2026 Orientation Online (Available to Transfer Students): Available Online

NOTE: An Online Orientation Session is available for transfer (30+ credit hours) and transient students.

You can register for the online session, and also attend an on campus session at no additional cost. To do this, please register for the online session and then contact our office directly to sign up for your preferred on campus session. There is a $30 fee required to secure your Orientation registration.
