Research Opportunity

Survey AD:

My name is Zachary Berman and I am a graduate student in the Couple and Family Therapy master’s program in the Department of Family Science at the University of Maryland School of Public Health. In an effort to increase our understanding of how couple/marriage and family therapists (C/MFTs) support clients from sexual minority groups, I am conducting an anonymous survey of C/MFTs’ attitudes about BDSM and their perceived competence in serving BDSM practitioners.

Eligible participants have the opportunity to win one of four $25 gift cards.

We are looking to survey C/MFTs who have completed their master’s degree in C/MFT and either have a full license (e.g., LMFT), a provisional license (e.g., LGMFT, Tier 1 LMFT), or are working toward their provisional license.
If you meet these criteria, we ask that you take part in our anonymous 10-minute survey:

We also hope that you will pass this email/ survey link along to any C/MFTs
who might be eligible for the survey.

This study has been approved by the University of Maryland IRB, protocol
Please contact me if you have any questions at
or by phone (301) 405-3672.

Thank you for your help as we work to learn more about
how to improve couple and family therapy.
