As a new member of Valdosta State’s staff, you are an important part of this institution and its goal of insuring a brighter future through higher education!

The forms you will find using the links below will make your first appointment with us run much more smoothly. The first time you visit Human Resources and Employee Development will be for the on-boarding process. On- Boarding is merely our way of saying "Welcome A Board to Valdosta State University. We are Glad you Are Here!"

You will meet with an HR Representative for your first appointment. Please call and make an appointment if you have not already been given a date and time by your supervisor. The number is 229-333-5709.

Those employees who cannot attend during the normally scheduled sessions may make arrangements with their HR Specialist for another appointment time.

As required by the US Department of Justice, all new employees must complete I-9 documentation and provide the appropriate supporting pieces of identification. Page three of the I-9 form lists all forms of acceptable identification and in what combination they may be used to satisfy this requirement. In addition, all new employees will complete Right To Know Training as required by the "Public Employee Hazardous Chemical Protection and Right to Know Act of 1988" (O.C.G.A 45-22-2).
