AGS is the official graduate student organization at VSU. We represent graduate students and support their academic, professional, and personal success through leadership opportunities, advocacy, community, and professional development. All graduate students are members.

Mission/Purpose

It shall be the purpose of the Association of Graduate Students to facilitate social and professional development among graduate students at Valdosta State University through the use of regularly scheduled meetings, guest speakers, and educational sessions. More information can also be found in the AGS Constitution.

  • Career Opportunities & Volunteer Services Office—a multifaceted career center designed to assist VSU Students and Alumni in meeting their career goals through our partnerships with local, regional, and national employers to identify talent to enhance today's workforce.

  • Student Government Association—serves as the mechanism to ensure VSU students feel heard and valued.
