Marriage and Family Therapy

The Marriage and Family Therapy Program at VSU is part of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice and leads to a Master of Science (M.S.) in Marriage in Family Therapy.
The program is committed to nurturing the development of highly competent clinicians working from a systemic/contextual perspective. The program has been designed to adapt to the needs of working students and their families. MFT trainees at Valdosta State receive training in an environment that supports diversity and scholarship.
The Marriage and Family Therapy Masters Program at the Valdosta State University is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Training and Education (COAMFTE) of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), 112 S.
