However, there are a few other things you need to do on your path to becoming a Blazer. We have outlined a few simple steps to help you along. Please use the Contact Us button below should you have any questions about the next step.

  • Complete your admissions file: You have been accepted and finished everything else but you need to make sure that the Admissions Office has everything we need to complete your file. Make sure your immunization form is mailed (or faxed) to our office. Also request a copy of your final high school transcripts showing graduation date to be mailed to the Admissions Office.

  • Tryouts, Auditions, and Recruitment: If you are looking for specific scholarships that require auditions you may want to contact the department to see how the process is setup. Also Greek (fraternity and sorority) recruitment usually happens at the beginning of the classes in August. Visit their web site for the latest information on recruitment.

  • V-State Email: As an accepted student you have been assigned a VSU email address. This is the official way that students, faculty, and staff communicate on campus. Why not go ahead and set yours up and be one step ahead for the fall? Follow the link above for directions to accessing your VSU email.

  • Visit Campus: You've've been accepted......still not sure if Valdosta State is the best fit for you? Come visit! We are sure you will agree with our current students that VSU has the right academic & social atmosphere to help you succeed.
