Blazer Buddy Program Launching August 1st!

VSU has created a new initiative to help support new staff employees during their first 90 days of employment. Interested new hires are paired with registered Buddies (must be staff employed over 6 months). See instructions on how to register below. 

The program aims to partner a new hire with a current employee who will primarily offer advice and guidance regarding the day-to-day aspects of VSU. As a knowledge resource, they will offer encouragement as they help introduce the new hire to VSU culture. 

Some of the many benefits of being a Buddy for current employees are recognition and an expanded network while the new employee receives a smoother acclimation period. A win-win scenario for VSU! 

We will be welcoming Buddy submissions starting May 1st to prepare for new hire pairing on or after August 1st.
