The Counseling Center is a Training Site for Master's level graduate students in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, the Marriage and Family Therapy Program, and the Social Work Program. Students are closely supervised by professional staff and will receive an hour of individual supervision as well as weekly group trainings. The Counseling Center offers Practicum students experience with individual counseling, group counseling, crisis management, and outreach presentations. Opportunities are available for Fall and Spring semesters for Field Observation Hours, Practicum, and Internship.  

Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates for the Counseling Center Practicum Training Program must be actively pursuing one of the following degrees:

  • M.Ed. in Counselor Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Track
  • M.S.W. in Social Work
  • M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy
