The Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) is composed of representatives from different areas of VSU.  They work together to help provide interventions for students, if any behavioral concerns are reported. The BIT report is an excellent tool both for reporting non-life-threatening concerns about students, as well as offering follow up resources. For more detailed information about BIT, click here. Note that if you know a student who does not want to call the Counseling Center, but you feel they are in a life-threatening crisis, please call the University Police (229) 259-5555 to conduct a wellness check. They can go to a student's location, and they have access to mobile crisis services.
