A wellness mindset is based on the belief that taking care of all areas of your wellness will enhance your experience at VSU so that you feel proud of your achievements and learn from your struggles.

Blazer Ready is an engaging skill development program designed to help you grow and develop the life skills desired most by students, employers, and your community. The Health and Wellness Certificate focuses on the physical, social and emotional wellbeing skills to help you lead a well-balanced life.

Wellness Community

This community located in Hopper hall  focuses on helping students develop an understanding of the eight dimension of of hollistic wellness and how to implement these dimension in their day-to-day lives, through teaching coping skills, effective forms of communication, time-management, and cooking skills, among other things.
