Requesting Documentation
If you are on an F-1/J-1 visa, we can provide the following letters/ documentation for you,
After you submit the Letter Request Form:

- Social Security Letter to Apply for a Social Security Number
- Note: You will need to have been in United States for at least 10 days before you can apply for a Social Security Number
- Driver's License Letter as Secondary Proof of Residential Address (see other documents you can provide under Proof of Residential Address)
- Letter of Invitation (for Family) - Note from the U.S. Department of State: Visa applicants must qualify on the basis of the applicant's residence and ties abroad, rather than assurances from U.S. family and friends. A letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support is not needed to apply for a visitor visa. If you choose to bring a letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support to your interview, please remember it is not one of the factors used in determining whether to issue or deny the visa.
- Social Security Letter to Apply for a Social Security Number
If you need an updated I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility) for the following reasons:
- Change in Major
- If you decide to change your major, it will not be official until you have submitted your Student Data Change Form to the Registrar's Office.
- You will need to inform us through the Address/Major Change Form about the change as well.
- Program Extension
- If you need more time to finish your studies, please submit the following documentation to us, and we will have your new I-20 ready within 2-5 business days after all required supporting documents have been received.
- SEVIS Record Extension Request Form New Certificate of Finance form & financial documentation less than a year old, if requesting for an extension of 2 or more semesters (including the summer semester).
- If you need more time to finish your studies, please submit the following documentation to us, and we will have your new I-20 ready within 2-5 business days after all required supporting documents have been received.
