Curriculum, Leadership, and Technology
The mission of the Department of Curriculum, Leadership, and Technology is to develop practitioners and researchers who are knowledgeable and skilled in improving schools and other learning organizations in our service region and beyond. To accomplish its mission the department offers programs in Curriculum and Instruction at the doctoral level; Educational Leadership at the doctoral, specialist, and master's levels; and Instructional Technology at the specialist and master's levels. The department also offers a variety of certifications and endorsement programs. All programs are strongly supported by research courses offered within the department.
Our department office is located on the second floor of Special Education and Communication Disorders Building (next door to the bookstore).

Georgia On My Line (GOML)
- Our Department offers an Online Teaching Endorsement through GOML
- Our Department offers a Certification in Online Teaching (does not lead to teaching certificate)

There are new online graduate teacher education programs that are offered through a statewide system called Georgia On My Line (GOML). These programs are offered by partnerships among institutions, including Valdosta State University. In some cases VSU is the lead institution and offers the majority of the courses; in others, VSU is in a supporting role, offering some of the courses in the program. Admissions and registration for GOML is centralized and the fee structure is different.
