If you have not been a member of LIR within the past 2 years, or have never been a member, email your mailing address to steamcenter@valdosta.edu or call us at 229.253.2985 and we will send you a catalog.

You can Register Online or call our office at 229.253.2985 to register by phone with credit/debit card. You are also welcome to drop by our office to pay with cash or check. We are currently located at the VSU University Center, 1215 N Patterson St (right next to Drexel Park - Corner of Brookwood and Patterson) in Room 3103.

Dear Customers,

The Office of Professional and Community Education (PACE) at Valdosta State University provides lifelong learning programs and activities for adults of all ages. Recently, the demand for these programs has dwindled, resulting in not enough revenue being generated. As a result, VSU is pausing taking new registrations for PACE until further notice. 

Learning in Retirement is not impacted by this pause and its programming will continue.

For those currently enrolled in courses, please do not worry as we are working on a teach out plan so you can finish your coursework. We will be in touch with you once we have that plan completed.

ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification

Proctoring for the ServSafe exam is now available through VSU's Office of Testing. Please call 229.245.3878 or email Rebecca Taylor at rltaylor@valdosta.edu for information. 

The next test date is Tuesday, December 9th. Test takers can register at www.valdosta.edu/testing.
