Prospective Student Information Sessions
The Department of Social Work hosts Prospective Student Information Sessions and attends graduate fairs across the state of Georgia. Additionally, we host a Social Work Career Day on campus each spring. Information Sessions are a unique opportunity for prospective students to learn about the admissions process and explore curriculum of the Master of Social Work program with the Admissions & Recruiting Director.
Social Work Fair
The Social Work Fair is an exciting time for prospective students to learn about the MSW program. The Social Work Fair differs from the MSW Prospective Student Information Sessions in that it is held on the beautiful campus of Valdosta State University. Additionally, the Social Work Fair provides students with an opportunity to meet with faculty, the admissions director, current field instructors, current students, and alumni.
