The Langdale College of Business Masters of Accountancy (MAcc) program is a full-time, one-year program.  Admission is competitive and based on space availability.  MAcc courses are offered in a ‘hybrid’ format. Classes meet face-to-face once per week and the remainder of the coursework is done online. Students may enter the program in fall, spring or summer.  Current undergraduate students are able to bridge a maximum of three MAcc courses. Our MAcc students are also eligible to apply for scholarships. Our MAcc program prepares graduates for careers in:

  • Public Accounting

  • Financial Services

  • Government and non-profit

  • Corporate Finance.

Students study accounting in greater depth than typically provided in an undergraduate accounting program or MBA program an accounting concentration.  The MAcc program objectives include developing sound technical accounting, analytical, communication, and technology skills that are required to succeed in the accounting profession.

MAcc program graduates fulfill Georgia's educational requirements to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination.

An additional characteristic that sets the Langdale College of Business MAcc program apart from many of its peers is the personal attention given to each student’s learning needs.  Enrollments are managed to assure small class sizes so that students have significant opportunities to interact with each professor and their peers.

Why should you want a Masters of Accountancy?
