CAMP Application Autobiography

The autobiography allows the VSU CAMP team to get to know you and why you should be awarded the VSU CAMP Scholarship. Your autobiography will be scored on the thoroughness of your responses to the below questions.

  • Instructions:

    Type a three-page essay maximum – For document formatting: use 12-point font and double space. Please use a header with your first and last name. MAKE SURE YOUR ESSAY ANSWERS ALL BULLET POINTS THOROUGHLY:

    • What is your family’s work history and the types of migrant and/or seasonal farm work that you and/or your immediate family have performed? Be descriptive.
    • What have been the biggest lessons learned from you and/or your family's seasonal and/or migrant farm worker experience and how has it motivated you to pursue a college degree at VSU?
    • How do you think the VSU CAMP scholarship will support your educational goals? Give examples.
    • What high school leadership and/or extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or any other information do you consider relevant toward your acceptance in VSU CAMP?
