VSU Parking Decks to Close for Cleaning During Fall Break

The Oak Street Parking Deck and the Sustella Parking Deck will close during fall break, Oct. 12-13 at VSU.

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Oak Street Parking Deck and Sustella Parking Deck at Valdosta State University (VSU) will be temporarily closed during fall break, Oct. 12-13 to be professionally cleaned. Contractors began setting-up equipment around the decks on Oct. 7.

Here’s what students, employees, and the community need to know.

• All vehicles need to be removed from both parking decks by Friday, Oct. 9.
• During the project, parking will be available in the Oak Street surface lot and Centennial Hall lot.
• Please park as far away from the parking decks as possible.
• Handicap-accessible spaces will be available in the surrounding parking lots.

Scheduling the work during fall break helps minimize the disruption to campus while also keeping vehicles safe. For vehicles not moved, any damage incurred will be the responsibility of the owner/operator of the vehicle.
