Local residents engaged in serious study may apply for a Community Borrowers card. Applications are available at the Main Circulation Desk. Applicants must have a local address, telephone number, and photo ID. Permission, with a barcoded Community Borrower’s card, will be granted or withheld at the discretion of the Lending Services Supervisor. Loan access is granted for a 1-year period and must be renewed through the Lending Services Supervisor.

The Community Borrowers Card is non-transferable and the individual named on the card is responsible for all items borrowed with the card and for any fines or charges for damages or lost materials.

High school students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program must provide documentation verifying they are in the program and must have a parent or guardian fill in the application form. The parent or guardian is responsible for all items borrowed with the card and for any fines or charges for damages or lost materials.

Community Borrowers may check out up to 3 items at a time from the main library collection. They may not check out Popular Books, Games, FAMC or other special collections. All overdue fines or charges for damages or lost materials must be paid before checking out any more items.
