Note:  Requests for materials may be sent at any time, but after February 14, the Library begins expending remaining departmental balances.  Requests submitted after that date might not be purchasable until the start of the next fiscal year.

  • Fiscal year July 1 - June 30

  • August - Allocation formula distributed to deans and library faculty coordinators.
  • November 15 - By this date, departments should have about 50% of their book allocation encumbered/expended
  • February 14 - All material requests due. Submissions after this date might not be purchased until the next fiscal year.
  • May 1 - Periodical additions/cancellations should be submitted before faculty leave for summer.  New subscriptions begin at the start of the following calendar year.
