The 38th International Dinner was on March 31, 2014, from 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm at the Student Union Ballrooms. Please check back next year for announcements about the 39th International Dinner.
The International Dinner began 37 years ago as a way for VSU's International Students to share part of their culture with the Valdosta community. It is a celebration of cultural diversity that can be found in Valdosta. Currently there are over 270 international students from over 60 different countries attending VSU.
The dinner features dishes from around the world prepared by both international students and domestic students under the supervision of Chartwells' staff.
During the dinner, students entertain guests with traditional and modern songs, performances, dances, music and skits. Among the performances, there will be International Fashion Show, where students display traditional attire from their home countries..
Guests are also be welcome to participate in our raffle and silent auction.
TICKETS FOR THE 39th International Dinner ARE NOT AVAILABLE. Tickets to the International Dinner are limited and must be purchased in advance at the Center for International Programs located at 204 Georgia Avenue. If available, tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets will be $20 for adults and general admission, $10 for VSU students (with valid student ID), free for children under 5.
- Table reservations are available for groups with at least 8 people. Please provide the name and/or ticket # and a group name. This does not guarantee anybody a ticket, and it will be each person's responsibility to acquire their own tickets.
