Valdosta State University is delighted in welcoming high school students to experience college life while learning about the humanities and social sciences with faculty who have a passion for teaching, inspiring, and service. Follow the steps below to begin your experience with VSU today!

 

The following is required: 

  • Must be an upcoming senior; starting with the class of 2024
  • Must submit an essay (more information coming soon). 
  • Must complete an application form (more information coming soon).
  • Must attend high school in the Wiregrass Region of South Georgia. 

Ideal candidates: 

  • Have an interest in the humanities and/or social sciences
  • Show passion for challenging reading materials
  • Show interest in academic writing
  • First generation college students (preferred, but not required)
  • Interested in being introduced to VSU’s beautiful campus
