Center for Exercise Medicine and Rehabilitation
The Center for Exercise Medicine and Rehabilitation (CEMR) is housed within the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The CEMR encompasses all preventive and therapeutic clinical services provided by the Athletic Training and Exercise Physiology faculty, staff and students. The CEMR is located within the Health Sciences and Business Administration building on the north campus of VSU. The Athletic Training Clinic, Exercise Physiology Fitness Center and Human Performance Laboratory are the base of operations for the CEMR.
To educate and train students while fostering an avenue for faculty practice and supervision through the delivery of select primary, secondary and tertiary services for students and employees of VSU, local municipalities, industry and citizenry.
To be recognized as a service model for institutions within the University System of Georgia based on a demonstrable commitment to civility, integrity and citizenship.
