The primary purpose of the Center for Accreditation and Curricular Innovation (CACI) is to provide a mechanism for working with administrators and program coordinators to prepare program approval and accreditation reports, analyze and use data for continuous improvement, and facilitate and implement curricular innovations within the entire college. The Director of CACI chairs the Council of Program Coordinators which is comprised of a faculty representative from every program in the college. The purpose of the Council of Program Coordinators is to engage faculty in making recommendations regarding candidate assessment, ensure useful data are collected, facilitate the sharing of data, and ensure that faculty in all programs are using data for program improvement. Specialized subcommittees of coordinators of the Educator Preparation Provider (EPP) programs meet as needed to discuss and make recommendations regarding the EPP and educator preparation program assessments.
