SOLIS SPOTLIGHT . . .

The faculty, staff, and students in the MLIS Program are pleased to host a Visiting Professor during the spring 2013 semester. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Edward Waiguru Muya. Dr. Muya is a Senior Lecturer and Chairman in the Department of Library and Information Science at Kenyatta University. Dr. Muya received his BEd in Nairobi and his M.A. and D.L.I.S. from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. He has a long list of credits to his name including Director, Information Management Consultancy, and Evaluator in the Commission for Higher Education in Kenya. He has been active in the African Medical and Research Foundations (AMREF) and the United Nations Environment Programme, among many other affiliations.
