For the School Counselor concentration:
The PSC requires passing the GACE School Counseling exam for certification.
For the Clinical Mental Health Counseling concentration:
Additional requirement for licensure after graduation must be completed. These include passing a licensure exam and completing additional directed experience under supervision. Details will be dicsussed and planned with students.
For the School Counselor concentration:
School Counseling track is CACREP accredited.
For the Clinical Mental Health Counselor concentration:
The CACREP self-study for the CMHC track has been submitted in application for accreditation. The CMHC track is CACREP-like and currently meets the state of Georgia requirements for licensure.
