K-12 economics teachers in South Georgia now have free access to a number of remarkable benefits through the Valdosta State University's Center for Economic Education (VSU-CEE). Department of Teacher Education professor Dr. Sean Lennon is working to make sure teachers in South Georgia know about some of the best economic education resources available courtesy of the Georgia Council on Economic Education (GCEE) and its partners.

One of the major initiatives of GCEE is the development and delivery of workshops for K-12 teachers. Many of these workshops are at no charge to the school system, and some provide reimbursement for substitute teachers. Please visit the GCEE website for more information on the GCEE workshops.

Research has now confirmed that the students of high school teachers of economics who attend the economic workshops held by GCEE perform better on the economics end-of-course test. Give your students this advantage, and sign up for workshops today!
