VI. Special Rules

A. Student Athletes – As an NCAA member institution, student athletes must not only comply with the student code of conduct and the Student Athlete Handbook, but all applicable rules and regulations of the NCAA and any conference partners. Any questions about these rules and regulations should be directed to VSU’s Athletic Department.

B. Residence Halls – Students living on campus sign a contract prior to moving in. Those students are bound by that contract, the Community Guidelines, and this code. Breach of a signed contract may lead to removal from campus housing by Housing staff and negatively impact a student’s chances of living on campus in subsequent semesters. Additionally, you are responsible for the actions of any of your guests. Any questions about the housing contract or community guidelines should be directed to House and Residence Life.

C. Student Organizations/Groups – VSU has several Greek letter organizations and other organizations/groups that have a national headquarters or chapter. Students who are part of such organizations/groups are bound by university policies and those of the national headquarters or chapter. When these organizations/groups violate the student code of conduct, those entities will be contacted.
