Our Purpose

The purpose of the Valdosta State University Office of Internal Audit is to provide independent and objective assurance and advisory services to Valdosta State University in order to add value and improve operations while promoting accountability and transparency to maintain public trust. The Valdosta State University Office of Internal Audit helps the institution accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, compliance, and internal control processes.
