Embedded Librarian Request Form

This form is intended for faculty and staff of Valdosta State University to use to request an embedded librarian for their course. Requests should be placed with at least two weeks' notice when possible. The librarian will contact you by email to talk about how you would like to collaborate.

Embedded librarians are most effective when students have an assignment that requires them to use library resources. It is also helpful for course instructors to refer students' research questions to the embedded librarian.

Our new Embedded Librarian program allows instructors to select the level of involvement and interaction that the librarian will have in the course, giving you as the instructor the option of customizing the experience for your students.

    Required research meetings - Note: due to the intensive nature of this embedded option, we are only able to provide four courses with the required meetings opportunity.
