Dewar Education Center Closed During Fall Semester for Renovations

The Dewar Education Center on VSU's campus is closed during the fall 2026 semester for renovations.

VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Dewar Education Center on the campus of Valdosta State University (VSU) is closed during the fall 2026 semester. The building is undergoing renovations. 

All classes and faculty offices have been moved to other buildings on campus. Students with in person education classes should read their schedule carefully to determine their class location. Students should also refer to their class syllabus to determine where their professor’s office has been temporarily relocated.

The Einstein Bros. Bagels in the Education Building is also closed due to the renovations. The Einstein’s in the HSBA Building on North Campus will be open for business as usual during the fall semester.

Jennett Lecture Hall remains open during the fall 2026 semester, but it should be accessed from the Baytree Rd. side.

Students and community members can utilize the VSU campus map to find any alternate locations.
