Alec Denison Earns Outstanding Student Award at VSU

Alec Robert Denison of Fitzgerald, Georgia, is the recipient of Valdosta State University’s 2024-2025 Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration Outstanding Student Award. VALDOSTA — Alec Robert Denison of Fitzgerald, Georgia, is the recipient of Valdosta State University’s 2024-2025 Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration Outstanding Student Award.

The Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration Outstanding Student Award is presented to a student with a record of academic excellence and distinguished service inside and outside the classroom.

“Earning this award is just another example of hard work paying off,” he said. “Bloom where you are planted, and your work will be noticed.”

Denison graduated May 10 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Minor in Aerospace Studies. He demonstrated leadership excellence as a cadet in VSU’s United States Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 172 and is excited to begin his career as an officer at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.
