DrawProject 2026, Fundraiser for Art and Design Scholarships, Begins Nov. 9

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Calling all art lovers! The opportunity to purchase a one-of-a-kind piece while supporting student scholarships in Valdosta State University’s Department of Art and Design kicks off on Monday, Nov. 9.

DrawProject is the annual exhibition and fundraising auction that features the partnership between VSU Art and Design and the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts, which is hosting this year’s event. VSU faculty, students, alumni, and community artists submit work to be auctioned off.

The reception runs from 5 – 7 p.m. with the live auction starting at 6:15 p.m. The exhibition and bidding runs until Wednesday, Jan 6, 2027. VSU President Dr. Donald J. Green will serve as the auctioneer this year.

All proceeds from the auction go toward the Turner Center for the Arts Scholarship and the Danielle B. Harmon Merit Award, which helps VSU Art and Design students thrive.
