Local Music Talent to be Showcased at Blazefest

VALDOSTA – Valdosta State University’s radio station WVVS Blaze FM 90.9 will host Blazefest from 2 – 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, on the front lawn. Blazefest is a concert highlighting seven local musical artists/bands.

The six hours of entertainment will feature artists like SIN, Paper Hawks, New World Order, The Dredges, Trailer of Tears and Hall of the Elders.

BlazeFest is free, and the public is invited to come and see what Valdosta's music scene has to offer.

Broadcasting on air for the first time in 1971, WVVS Valdosta Blaze FM 90.9 is a fully FCC licensed non-commercial radio station belonging to Valdosta State University. The station offers alternative and urban music and has a variety of special shows, which are hosted by VSU radio djs.
