HERO Olympics To Be Held Saturday, April 27

VALDOSTA - The Valdosta State University Chapter of Hearts Everywhere Reaching Out (HERO) for Children will host the HERO Olympics on from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, in the University Center's Magnolia Rooms 1 and 2.

“There will be various activities to get children in the community involved in physical fitness,” said Erika McCoy, HERO president. “It is the first of its kind at VSU so we are striving for it to be a big success.”

The event will feature some of the most popular field day activities, including tug of war, the 50-yard dash and many others. There will be food, games, music and arts and crafts.

All active student organizations are invited to attend. The HERO Olympics is open to all VSU students, faculty and staff, as well as children in the local community.
