36th Annual International Dinner: Revealing the Faces of the World

VALDOSTA -- VSU’s Society for International Students will host its 36th Annual International Dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, in the Student Union Ballrooms.

The dinner will include food from the four regions of the world: the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe. Entertainment will also be provided.

“This night gives our local community a taste of international culture for the eyes, ears, and mouth,” said Lauren Braun, International Student Advisor. “It will certainly be a memorable event for all who attend.”

The International Dinner was started over 35 years ago as a way for VSU’s international students to share part of their culture with the Valdosta community. Currently there are over 300 international students from over 60 different countries in attendance at VSU.

Tickets are now on sale in the Center for International Programs office. Non-VSU guest tickets will be $20, VSU student tickets will be $10 with a student ID and children five and under are free.

For more information about the dinner, contact Braun at (229) 333-7410.
