VSU Broadcasts Games Online

VALDOSTA - No worries Blazer sports fans. You won't miss one set or spike - even if you can't make it to the P.E. Complex to see the action in person.

According to Tom Hughes, director of Marketing and Athletic Sales, select match ups for football and volleyball will be broadcast online for free at www.vstateblazers.tv , beginning with the Volleyball season opener against Albany State at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11.

Not computer savvy? The site is easy to use with an Adobe Flash player streaming the action with just a click of your mouse. The page also provides a listing of upcoming football and volleyball games that will be available via the Web.

The upcoming Webcasts are not the first for Blazer fans. Select Blazer match-ups have been available via Webcast since 2007. According to VSU Athletics, football fans will be able to enjoy every home game online; five of the six will be available free of charge at www.vstateblazers.tv . The North Alabama event televised nationally by CBS College sports and Webcast by the network at http://www.cbssports.com/cbscollegesports/ .
