SmithBarnas & Associates Closes out Langdale Lecture Series

The final installment to the fall 2006 Harley Langdale Jr. Lecture Series will feature a lecture by M. Anne Barnas and Megan Smith of SmithBarnas and Associates entitled "Working the Plan; Realizing the Dream," on Tuesday, September 19 at 9:30 a.m. in Pound Hall auditorium. The public is invited to attend.

The lecture will focus on their becoming a human resource consulting firm that specializes in working with small to medium size businesses that do not have full time human resources staffs in the Valdosta area.

SmithBarnas and Associates, Inc. was the winner of the first ever Guardian Bank Business Plan Competition in March of this year. The competition was a collaboration of several entities including Valdosta State University that promotes new business development in the Valdosta/Lowndes area.

The Harley Langdale Jr. Lecture Series provides Valdosta State University business students and the public an opportunity to hear lectures on a wide range of business-related topics presented by experts in their related fields.
