VSU offers adults the building blocks to higher education

Valdosta State University will present the Adults Back-to-College (A.B.C.) Seminar on Thursday, October 20, at 6 p.m., in the Continuing Education Center, room 240.

The seminar, themed "Your Pathway to Success," offers the encouragement and information needed for adults to begin their college education or to complete a degree they previously started.

The biannual seminar, created in 2004 by Dr. Beverly Blake, assistant director of OASIS Learning Support at VSU, will provide the necessary information on the requirements, the admission process, and financial assistance available. Representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Affairs, and Student Services will be on hand to answer questions and/or concerns.

The Continuing Education Center is located at 901 N. Patterson Street. Admission is free and open to the public. Reserved seating should be made by October 19 by calling 333-5934 or 245-4378.
