Valdosta State University students will be honored for their academic excellence during the annual Honors Day ceremony on Wednesday, April 13, at 11:30 a.m., in the Whitehead Auditorium of the Fine Arts Building.

Honors Day is designed to recognize and reward individual students for their academic achievements. There will be 38 awards presented, including one from each department, one from each college, and eight university-wide awards. Classes will be dismissed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. so that the campus community may attend the event.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Brian Adler, acting dean, Graduate Program. Adler also works with some of VSU's top students, teaching honors courses.
