Free Swim Lessons

On the last Thursday of every month, Campus Recreation's certified Water Safety Instructors will be holding free swim lessons in the Student Recreation Center indoor pool. Bring your 1Card for admission. 

Private Swim Lessons

Swim Lessons at Valdosta State University Campus Recreation will provide students with the tools they need to become a better swimmer, no matter what level they are at. All of our instructors are Water Safety Instructor certified by the American Red Cross and have strong backgrounds in both recreational and competitive swimming. No matter what your goals are we can help you achieve them. Sign up for a lesson today!

All private lessons are 30 minutes long; available 7 days a week!

Private Lessons

  • STUDENT: $16
  • MEMBER: $18
  • NON-MEMBER: $27

Semi-Private Lessons

  • STUDENT: $22 ($11 PER PERSON)
  • MEMBER: $24 ($12 PER PERSON)
  • NON-MEMBER: $32 ($16 PERSON)

There will be a $15.00 no-show fee.

  • Jellyfish: 3-5 years old
  • Sea Stars: 6-9 years old
  • Dolphins: +10 years old
  • Stingrays: Adults
