The purpose of Pokémon Club is to provide a place for students of all majors and class standings to interact with others who play the Pokémon trading card game (TCG), Pokémon GO, or other Pokémon games. Pokémon TCG is a card game that can be played using trading cards between two people. Some individuals collect and trade cards without playing the game itself. Pokémon GO is a free game that focuses on collecting, trading, and battling Pokémon. Players can join together for in-game events hosted at locations that overlap with the real-world map and coordinate their efforts to effectively complete in-game missions. Players can also trade Pokémon with one another and share information about other in-game events. Additionally, the Club can be a place for members to discuss other aspects of Pokémon, such as the console games or other Pokémon news.
