For volume 17, Omnino and the Communications and English department is piloting an essay contest for area high school students. Research papers in the field of English will be invited and vetted, with the winning paper earning a cash prize as well as publication in Omnino. Allowable research essay submissions are in the fields of English studies, literature, literary history, and communications. If other VSU departments would like to host their own contests for future volumes, they may each submit a winning paper for publication in future volumes (1 per year per department). Please contact Dr. Anne Greenfield (algreenfield@valdosta.edu) for more information about requirements and the submission process.
