Andy Koppy Memorial Scholarship

This annual endowed scholarship was created to honor the memory of Andy Koppy and is awarded to student(s) majoring in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, who is/are also minoring in German. The recipient(s) must maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average in all courses and are chosen annually on the basis of ability, promise, and need by an agreed decision from the Department Head of Computer Science and the Senior Professor of German in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages.

Elizabeth Lohmar Award

This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding junior or returning senior mathematics major who has maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average, and who has displayed a combined interest in scholastic and extracurricular activities. Recipients are selected by the department of Mathematics.

Mrs. Maya Goel Scholarship

This scholarship was created to honor the memory of Mrs. Maya Goel. The scholarship is awarded to an outstanding junior or returning senior mathematics major who has maintained at least a 3.3 grade point average. Recipients are selected by the Department of Mathematics.

James E. Martin Scholarship

This scholarship was created to honor the memory of James E. Martin. The scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in physics (NOT available for students on the Engineering Track). The scholarship can be renewed for up to three years if the student maintains at least a 3.0 grade point average in all courses required for the physics major. Recipients are selected by the Department of Physics.

Julia Wisenbaker Sumerford Scholarship

This non-renewable scholarship is offered to outstanding students in the fields of chemistry and nursing. In the even numbered years, the award will be made to the student majoring in the field of chemistry. In the odd-numbered years, the award will be made to a nursing student.
